Typechange diffs are split into two parts

When Git displays diff that modifies the type of a file (e.g. from regular file to a symlink), the diff is presented in two parts. The first shows the complete removal of the old type and the second shows the complete addition of the other. The additions and removals are not mixed.

SVN, however, combines the two into a single change.
