Clean & Green Philly Data Dictionary

Overview

This document provides a description of the datasets used in the Clean & Green Philly platform. It is intended to serve as a reference for users who wish to understand the data sources and processing methods used to generate the platform's indicators.

Data Selection Criteria

The datasets in this dictionary were selected based on relevance to the Clean & Green Philly mission, with significant expert input from researchers involved in the project. We have elected to use only public datasets in our platform to ensure that our data is accessible to all users. We prioritized datasets that were publicly available, spatially explicit, and updated regularly. We also sought to include datasets that were relevant to the Clean & Green Philly mission, such as those related to vacant land, blight, and community greening.

Quality and Limitations

Although we do our best to ensure consistency and quality of the data we provide, please be advised that they are all drawn from external providers. We make no guarantee as to the accuracy of these data. If you find an issue, please reach out to us at [email protected].
