How simple would it be to expose the currently logged-in user identity object from Visual Studio? If, because of the multiple identity accounts that could be used to authenticate against external code repos (i.e. devOps, GitHub, BitBucket, etc), you could expose a collection of identity principle objects.

We've talked about this internally and it looks like an item that we can do. We'll work out a patch schedule and post back here.
