What is the 'best-practice' for getting this package installed on a Windows machine?

Hi Luke — good question. I don’t know of anybody who has tried getting it up and running on Windows. I suspect that there are parts of the code that may not be portable to Windows, which may leave a Unix emulator as the only option.
