I tried with mysql but suspect the issue with mysql stems from the way the mysql plugin presents the data back to grafana
using influx 0.8 (which i know is old but I already have a fairly extensive insallation) I have the data in what appears to be the correct format
this is from the geojson file
however my map is black

+1 My version of Grafana is different from the one in the example, therefor I am not able to insert tag(...). Could you provide example in SQL?
Sorry, something went wrong.
In my case the issue has been caused by the data source. The plugin seems to work with InfluxDB but not with MySQL.
