UX - Simple Interface #1
Comments
Must be easy enough and fast enough to use “on the fly”, including going back and making changes |
Question...Are we assuming our target audience will be using a bank? |
Its worth noting that there is also a fair amount of homeless youth in Cincinnati. We need to make sure that we keep that in mind when designing and building this to not "exclude" a fairly significant portion of the homeless population. |
The first challenge is creating a simple interface. The initial ideas I drew up were:
splash page - account information display (This could track the net account information, keeping in mind that this needs to seem more simple than a bank app)
Swipe right for deposits, green overlay?
Swipe left for expenses, red overlay?
For expenses, we break down a list of potential categories and add a simple icon to be representative of that. So far I have food, rent, utilities, bills, clothes, alcohol, misc, empty category, and a settings logo.
I haven't thought as deeply about the deposit part yet. Should we track - was money put in the bank? What was the source?
