When using the rescue system RESCUE64-1.15-5ad84d8.img, which was booted within a ventoy usb, onto a Dell XPS 9575 i7 with a 4k screen, the typed text commands from the terminal interface fall off the bottom of the screen, once the screen has been occupied by various terminal output.
This means that the user cannot see what is on screen and must type commands blind.

  • I have not tried a non-ventoy usb.
  • I have not tried using a usb to HDMI adapter for an external monitor.
  • I was able to get sedutil to work by typing each command blind, then holding enter to start new lines, thus revealing whether the previously executed command, concealed at the bottom of the screen, was successful.
