Is there any other way to build this please, I've been trying to build it for weeks now, and I can't get it to work either on my own machine or using bazel on docker.

I sadly don't have time to maintain this anymore :( Sorry, but I can't help with your problem.

Only thing I could suggest is that you might not need the build system? Mostly this is plain python, with a few standalone binaries that should be simple enough to build.

It is derived from CLgen and extends its functionality, you can use the same models and more, and the build system is CMake.
