No teal light nor good connection from ChLoad_HIMEM

Using and open the normal ChLoad works as intended with the blue light but running the HIMEM version doesn't really work. It boots me to the home screen but with app in the background and entering the app again just leads to a black screen. Exiting the app or clicking the power button to go into the power menu however does make the teal light appear and Chokistream does attempt to connect but then the teal light disappears and Chokistream disconnects.
