Thanks for Catima. It's an amazing app and I'm happy to migrate from Stocard. I loved the logos from Stocard app and I wanted to put them in Catima. However, the experience is suboptimal.

For example I have a screenshot of a loyalty card:

I upload it and use the default (Card) size to select:

Note: I found it quite hard to effectively select the region. The default view interprets pinching as a rotation rather than scaling up/down. Then I have to click on the lower right button to get into the scaling mode. I still can't use the two fingers pinching to scale it up / down just enough to get the logo in the center. The gauge at the bottom of the screen does not really want to allow me quickly to zoom in/out.

I manage to get nice logo in the full screen view:

However, the edit shows white borders. That confused me if I picked the correct ratio:

I think the problem comes from the fact that the preview is a square but credit cards are not squares. Maybe the preview should have the ratio of a card rather than a square?

I also see that the logo on the app startup has very slight white lines. It is annoying once you notice that:

This is sadly out of my control, this is the uCrop library. I would recommend submitting a bug report/feature suggestion there or maybe helping find a replacement library (as uCrop doesn't seem to support Android 15 properly yet and the maintenance seems fairly slow so it's hard to tell if it'll support Android 15 edge-to-edge on time).

Yeah, that uses a different aspect ratio. That should be relatively easy to fix.

Sounds like a duplicate of #2248. But I find it interesting you seem to imply it is cropped perfectly for the other screen. So maybe there is a slight bug with the aspect ratio (perhaps one of the screens uses a border instead of a margin or something, causing the aspect ratio to become slightly warped? Hmmm...)
