Some (non exhaustive) list of capabilities for the python API:

View

  • Querying the Hugr connectivity, including some iterators (e.g. "neighbours").
  • Querying OpTypes and comparing them / matching against them.

Mutation

  • Define/apply rewrites (e.g. outline DFG)
  • Mutate the python pytket circuit in place
