They could be uploaded in addition to the existing ones, or replace the less-used ones.

I've had a good look and I can't find any examples of projects using pybind11 to produce stable-ABI wheels, nor any sign that it is possible.

Will keep issue open in case anyone wants to investigate further, but I've drawn a blank.
