Outstanding Questions:

  1. Templates → how much can we automate?
  2. How flexible is MailChimps templating and setup?
  3. Do we need an email mission statement to keep consistency?
  4. Where is the data coming from?
  5. How can we streamline this?

Content Ideas:

  • What’s coming up
  • What’s happened
  • Interesting snippets from the community
  • Top facebook posts
  • Jobs
  • Events
  • Who needs help
  • Who wants to offer
  • Opportunity to jump in and help (RFT requests for help)
  • Educational opportunities
  • Mission statement

Next Steps:

  • Get Alee mailchimp credentials
  • Send alee logos
  • Gather all the potential content ideas
  • Decide on content ideas
  • Mockup template with content areas
  • Establish “branded” content areas vs fresh imagery
  • Review with others
  • Implement

I don't know how this works. I feel like I should learn.

I need to verify our sending domain and I do not have permission to do that.

I need:

  • admin or manager permissions

OR

  • You need to go into Mailchimp and begin the verification process

  • is our address info@roaringforktechnologists?
