There were some significant changes in the zenodo API. Tristan figured out what the fix was and we iterated on it a few times before narrowing down the problem.

With the new release everything should work seamlessly.

I was able to get the eegnet blue tag (and have it be searchable) by adding the following in my boutiques:

Once the new version is released the upadate can be done via:

bosh publish --replace $FILE

Where $FILE is the boutiques descriptor and it MUST contain the doi as a field like I linked above.
