I want to be able to use 3D RM synthesis on image planes where the frequency information is read from the fits header.
In this case the Stokes Q and U (and/or Stokes I) input images are stored in separate FITS files, in eg. separate directories labelled stokes_q, stokes_u, stokes_i.
