Unable to work in several views

http://www.pasteall.org/blend/23577 - here is a real example when I need this (I suppose it's not only a wish of mine)
Start in the left 3dVew then try the right while script is running. It's not possible.
In some cases (with a complex bend geometry) this will give about x2 speed-up.
