If you click on, for instance, Mandan from the journal entry:

http://rosie.unl.edu/lewisandclark/item/lc.jrn.1805-04-06

You get "Your search returned 780 results from all items". If you click through to the "search only journals" button, you get "Your search returned 765 results from journals"

The number difference is due to named entities in the journal supplementary materials.

So, we should decide: Are journal supplementary materials part of "the journals" as they are considered for search?

And if not, should we remove named entities from sup materials from indexing?
