Yes, and no. Unless the demo apps in the API know where to find the shared libraries, then we don't require to copy them (after they get compiled) into the /usr/local/lib folder.
I agree, the preferable model (based only on ROS) doesn't require this "sudo" intervention, but this is now just a way to test if the camera works beforehand with the provided wxPropView.
Should we consider only installing this locally? No sudo will be required. I feel like it's the preferable model
