Collect ideas for what I might want out of this feature.

Use cases:

  • yearly car insurance payment
    • do not want to make real monthly internal transfers
    • want to see "future monthly expenses" for the remaining months in analytics
    • want to see it deducted from the "corrected" / "predicted" balance or something
    • at the end of the year: assign to yearly transaction and mark "complete" somehow
  • monthly rent payment / investment Sparplan / other "fixed" expenses
    • associated 1:1 with real monthly expense
      • it should be automatically assigned whenever imported (through a rule)
    • want to see "future monthly expenses" for the remaining months in analytics
  • fixed emergency budget
    • should be permanently set aside and deducted from "corrected" balance
  • monthly salary
    • want to see reflected in predicted balance calculation
    • want to mark as "estimated" --> real TX amount overwrites budget amount
  • separate money managed for someone else
    • "floor money" should not be included in the corrected balance
  • show sum of deposits
    • include everything labeled deposit
    • probably do not want include in corrected balance (maybe as opposed to loan?)
  • maybe: one-time, not yet imported transaction that i want to remember to tag specially or split off something
    • doesn't directly fit the spirit of this feature, but might be a nice side effect to solve this as well :)
