Some users have trouble with moving images. The "reduced motion" browser/operating system setting is meant to turn off animations. Currently, I have reduced motion turned on, and I still see animations.
This issue is specifically for the animated avatars (I'm told the hamster and spiders Georg ones may be animated), as well as holiday/event decorations (I'm told the snow globe and possibly the 420 one may be animated). I'm told the extension "Toggle Animated GIF" on Firefox is able to stop these animations, as a solution for now.
