Fresh Amiberry installation on Raspberry PI 3B does not start

I've just installed Retropie on a Raspberry Pi 3B and Amiberry from Source (compiled successfully). It appears under Amiga but when I start it nothing happens (just returns to the Amiga menu). Removed the package and installed from binary, still the same. Can anybody point me in the right direction?

(Note: I also installed VICE from Source, that one works without problems for C64 Emulation)

You need to be using amiberry-lite for the RPi3 platform ~ see --> https://github.com/BlitterStudio/amiberry-lite

Additionally, RetroPie uses their own ecosystem to build/deploy Amiberry - even when you select build from source, it doesn't actually get the latest sources from the repo, but only those they've tagged.

The RetroPie team have requested that support requests like these are first opened in their forum, and if needed, they are forwarded here by one of them.

So let's see if a NOOB like me is able to install the lite version:

1.)
I removed the current package

2.)
While in ES, press F4 to get to the Terminal

3.)
sudo apt update
sudo apt upgrade

4.)
cd ~
git clone https://github.com/BlitterStudio/amiberry-lite
cd amiberry-lite

5.)
So I guess now it will be:
make PLATFORM=rpi3

Let me test that...

"rpi3" does not work (Unknown platform).

So I just typed "make" only (without any params) and something is compiling now...

@AlenMarkov ~ as midwan points out above, RetroPie uses their own build setup for amiberry ~ they apply 3 patches to the amiberry $source, and currently that value is defined as...

As suggested, you should bring this up in the RetroPie forum for further help with this 8)
