dist: popOS based on Ubuntu 20.04
username: anto
I executed without sudo and sudo

If you're following the HACKING.md, the root privilege will be asked in the internal command, so no sudo is required. If you've been doing sudo, you need to either remove/fix any permission issues or re-clone the entire source tree and redo the steps.

Anyway, would you paste the full log to a gist and add the link here?
