Selecting a number entity for use on a button page

I am not sure if this is the best place to post this.
I have a behringer Xair XR12 that I have integrated using someone elses integration. It works great, but I would like to be able to add the basic fader controls for 4 channels to my nspanel. The problem is the entity for the faders are number entities, which the blueprint wont allow me to use. I can add my lights, and when I press and hold on the light button, a fader pops up. How can I simply do exactly this but with the number entity?
