What would you like to learn? I’d like to learn to be able to prototype my concepts/ideas for
biosensor detection methodologies. I’d like to be able to develop a simple means of detection
(colorimetric, etc..) to confirm microbial / protein interactions with specific molecules.

What can you teach people? I can teach people about immobilisation strategies for proteins
and carbohydrates, the interaction of bacterial proteins / adhesins / lectins with their cognate
ligands, and I know loads about mucus (for the study of bacterial colonisation of the GI tract),
which is valuable given that most microbes first encounter sugars/glycans.
