Modify Snakefile to use a default representative image and thumbnail in cases where there are errors in the pipeline. Also have a sentinel message that can be searched for in logs to identify cases where there is an error.

The stage of the pipeline that may need this is generating representative image (in cases where none of the sample images were converted)
