terraform - list of potential commands
terraform version - version of the currently installed terraform


terraform init -> initializes by downloading the providers
terraform plan -> look at the configuration files that are in the current working directory and also loads the variables if it finds .tfvars files in that directory
terraform plan -out filename.tf -> specify file in which to store plan, it shows the plan and store this plan to reference when I want to actually create the resources
terraform apply "plan_file_name" -> creates the specified resources in the plan_file_name
terraform destroy -> looks at the state file what resources were created and destroys all of them

terraform refresh
terraform show
