Only one logo appears on the head of every page for oneside option

I find that when I choose oneside option and put 2 logos on the front page (one logo of X by default, and one logo of the company of internship customized), for the rest of the pages, only the company's logo will appear on the head, instead of 2 logos appear each 2 pages by turns. Instead, if I choose twoside option, the 2 logos appear by turns.
Is this a bug, or is it designed like this, please?

Oh, yes, it is designed like this.

If you have a simple idea on how to make it alternate even in the oneside case, please point me in the right direction or even (if you’re comfortable with coding it) file a pull request, I will be glad to review and integrate it.
Even if you don’t code it, if you have elements of answer I will take some time to try and code it :)
