Editors - Tabbed Toolshelf - Width is not changing when on #4853
Comments
This is a long known issue that we never got fixed. |
Ah... damn. I wonder if we can "default" it to a new width as if the tabs were on. |
Never found out how ^^ |
Yep could never figure out how to make it reset when toggling the tabs, I get the concept, just no idea where to put in the code. |
What is the concept? |
The concept of when tabs are turned on, it needs to update/refresh the tools region width, so it can recalculate the snap units correctly. or something along those lines, where to put something like this i can't seem to work out :( |
Me did neither find a fix back in the days. As told, this was there since day one when we changed the default width. |
Time to bug the blender devs on this one, thinking about putting tabs in blender and asking them to have a look at the code. |
Sometimes when spawning a new editor, the tabbed toolshelf has the wrong width (as if it had no tabs). This creates a weird visual bug.
Snapping also doesn't fix this, nor turning it on or off.
I think we had a fail-safe somewhere, but it must have gotten nuked or broken somewhere.
