I have reports of it working in the current dlc, ensure to follow the instructions, I believe there are guides on YouTube. It is partially working. I'm getting back the Samurai character that I used to beat the game in 2022 but the progress is not getting copied & the character spawns just after we die to the 1st boss no matter which save I use. I tried with multiple save files with different progress level.

Hope you're getting it. It's hard to explain.
