I use several MIDI devices and would love to store my pre-made MIDI mappings in the VCMC. Currently, the VCMC supports only four configurations (USER1, USER2, etc.), which is not enough for my needs. I manage devices like the Moog Subharmonicon, Mother-32, Grandmother, a Befaco Lich, Super Disting EX, and two groove boxes (plus DAW, plugins, and VCV Rack), all of which require different MIDI settings. It would be incredibly helpful if more than four configurations could be supported. An extension to 9 configurations (or perhaps even 10, that is 0-9) would already make a significant difference.
Additionally, it would greatly improve the user experience if these configurations could be named (instead of just USER1, USER2, etc.), making it easier to assign them to the corresponding devices.
Another "nice-to-have" would be if these changes could also be made via the web editor, especially the naming of the configurations.
Thanks for considering this!
Best regards,
Kay
