Yes and no. Most effects are built into to the backlight controller. Only Aurora Sync is driven from software. Bitmap representing screen colors is sent to the controller and it lights up relevant keys. So in theory you could send any bitmap with any colors, ergo create more effects. I don't have any personal interest in adding that as I barely even use the RGB backlight, but you asked for directions so here they are. |

Is it possible to add custom and/or programmable (scripted) effects to the backlight of Spectrum keyboards? Add more preset profiles (without adding to the toggle buttons), but the ability to save presets?
Maybe just like it is realized with user-presets for user-power-profile?
In Lenovo Vantage the "breathing" animation is implemented very shamefully. But in Legion Toolkit it works great! This gave me the idea that the effects can be rewritten/added. I am ready to help with this, but if I get a little support and direction... (I am a Unity developer, I am well acquainted with the C# syntax, but outside of Unity I have not compiled applications for Windows in C#.)
