Installation fails with v0.2.26-x64

I have attempted to install iisnode-full-v0.2.26-x64.msi on Windows Server 2016 and Win10, but it always fails in the same place and I see the following in my Application logs:

Product: iisnode for iis 7.x (x64) full -- Error 1721. There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action: AddIisnodeModuleRegistration, location: C:, command: C:\Windows\system32\inetsrv\appcmd.exe install module /name:iisnode /image:"%programfiles%\iisnode\iisnode.dll" /commit:apphost

Before the installer reverts everything I have made a copy of the iisnode folder and then manually ran the command in an elevated command prompt without issue. Unfortunately, issnode will not work since all other changes were reverted.
