Refresh state during app start-up

Hoping someone can help. I am setting some state variables at the top of my code which is set before gui.Run(). I need to get these refreshed into state in the main function either within the gui = Gui(pages=pages).run() or directly after, so that controls using those state variables are refreshed directly once the app displays.

Is on_init what you are looking for?

This function will be automatically called with the state as parameter for you to initialize the app before a client connect to your app
