Description

Add a “Launch site” button to the WordPress admin bar, displayed on both the front-end and back-end of the site. When selected, the button sets the site’s launch state to “launched” and removes itself from the admin bar.

This consolidates site launching into one consistent button, replacing the previously removed button on the launch bar from the front-end, and provides a streamlined user experience.

Requirements

  1. Add a “Launch site” button to the WordPress admin bar.
  2. Ensure the button is visible on both the front-end and back-end of the site.
  3. When the button is clicked, update the site’s launch state to “launched" and remove the button.
  4. Ensure consistent behavior across all views where the admin bar is rendered.
