Summary

It was noted during some discussions and the forum post here that Shiden tier rewards are extremely low, even for the top tier.

This is a consequence of the situation where Shiden (which mirrors Astar in many ways) has 100x total issuance and block reward emission compared to Astar, but this isn't reflected in the real world price. Both SDN and ASTR token are on the same order of magnitude value, and prices are fairly comparable (SDN having 2x higher price compared to ASTR).

Still, Shiden should not mirror Astar, and we cannot expect it to do so. It's not expected for rewards to be comparable. However, they should be slightly adjusted to the reality of the situation.

So the proposal to reduce the number of slots on Shiden (see the forum post link) might be a good solution.
