Incorrect experience calculation #192
Comments
It's working for me. 780 is the correct xp for 5 players. Maybe there is a
visual glitch missing a player? Does it show the same incorrect xp if you
open a new tab and try again?

wraith for a total of 3900 experience points. However, your system showed
that as 780xp per player. But, 3900 divided by 6 is 650xp per player. The
DMG says: "When adventurers defeat one or more monsters-typically by
killing, routing, or capturing them-they divide the total XP value of the
monsters *evenly* among themselves." (Emphasis mine). So, either your
system is taking something into account that's not in the 5e rules as I
know them, or is miscalculating the xp per player.

I was trying to figure out an encounter for my players, and calculate experience for it. I set up 4 players at 4th level, and 2 players at 2 level so a total of 6 characters. On the monster side I had 3 wights and 1 wraith for a total of 3900 experience points. However, your system showed that as 780xp per player. But, 3900 divided by 6 is 650xp per player.
