On 6.12.1-404.asahi.fc41.aarch64+16k:

[ 1295.352042] apple-dcp 231c00000.dcp: RTKit: syslog message: BrightnessLCD.cpp:803: [AFK]nitsToDBV: iDAC out of range

This looks like the Sequoia regression, but it's far past that time. Setting /sys/class/backlight/*/brightness to 1 causes my screen's contrast to change, but the actual backlight brightness has not.

I ran a full dnf update just now, still no luck.

Please report the used device. 231c00000.dcp is an M1 or M2 device (no Pro or Max). Does the brightness control work after closing the lid or DPMS off?
