trace2.show Segmentation fault (core dumped)

getting this error when trying trace2.show

Annotation keys include: ['reorganize_idx', 'j3d', 'world_cams', 'world_trans', 'world_global_rots', 'pj2d_org', 'pj2d', 'cam_trans', 'pj2d_org_h36m17', 'joints_h36m17', 'center_confs', 'track_ids', 'smpl_thetas', 'smpl_betas']
FEngine (64 bits) created at 0x256cffc0 (threading is enabled)
FEngine resolved backend: OpenGL
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I tested GLXgears and it runs just fine. Any ideas where I should start to troubleshoot this one? Thank you!

I am running Ubuntu 24.04. Maybe this a is qt5 problem similar to mac? I am not sure.
