So the obvious problems with the ingame timer as of right now:

  • it applies even if you aren't ingame
  • it's non-monotonic in the sense that jumping saves will jump around in time, and changes rate significantly if you do, for example, worldgen
  • Some crashes which may or may not its fault but I've only noticed while testing it.
