Currently our demo dataset is Three Rivers, Michigan. It turns out that DC has very thorough coverage on Mapillary thanks to the DC Department of Transportation!

Since a lot of the contributors to the project are from Civic Tech DC, it would be nice to have DC demo data. This would involve:

  • Pulling some road features from Open Street Map (in some vector format like gpkg)
  • Making sure it runs through the pipeline successfully
  • Uploading it to the project Google Drive and making it public
  • Updating the README to link to and mention it
