Не совсем понимаю что вы хотите получить в результате.

Правой кнопкой на иконку в области часов -> О приложении... -> В окошке дополнительно две ссылки (или просто копируемые пути, как в SmartGit сделали): на папку с базой, на папку с программой.

Дублирование получится.
Путь к файлу БД и в настройках и в About... Не хорошо. Надо подумать.
