Downloads from spotify URL's hang. A/V is disabled, app has permissions to download folders. any ideas?

can confirm this is also happening for me too, no recent changes on my end.

Have been reading around more, it seems an API in Spotify has changed and no 3rd party apps are able to pull data/stream, meaning all playback has to all go through Spotify app itself.

Only working apps are one which record, as tracks play though Spotify itself.
