Windows Portable CudaText

I can see that CudaText creates some folder at the user folder CudaText_addons.
Is there a way to prevent this?

I want CudaText to be completely portable, namely all settings to be in the same folder of the exe file.

some folder? do you mean folder 'settings'? if so, it is by design. program MUST make the folder 'settings' if absent.
you have command line key to change this location:
-s=folder - Set full path of "settings" folder

if it's another folder: pls write

1. full path of CudaText.exe file
2. full path of CudaText_addons folder

CudaText distributions are portable, if the executable file is located near the "data" sub-folder. So the distribution for Windows is portable (executable "cudatext.exe" is located near "data"), and distributions from .xz archives are portable too.

Then lists the folder locations for Linux, macOS and Haiku.
It doesn't list Windows.

Moreover, what does it mean data sub folder?
Should the user create it?

'data' folder is from the distributive of the program.
It is in Github here

Its location for all OS'es is, for non-portable installation, is

CudaText is now available in PortableApps: https://portableapps.com/apps/development/cudatext-portable.

This is a great addition for Windows users.

Yes. But PortableApps format means additional exposure for CudaText which it deserves.

Now I need to replicate https://github.com/facelessuser/MarkdownPreview with https://github.com/facelessuser/pymdown-extensions and CudaText can completely replace SublimeMerge on my machine.
