v70 has bigger height (how in big tabs) and no borders.

Please download the latest released version, go to chrome://flags, search for rectangle, turn on the corresponding flags, and see if it meets your needs.

I think it is worth mentioning in the description. I didn't know that it has trapeziod tabs.

and see if it meets your needs

No, it doesn't. It is the tabs from Supermium. It differs much from the original Chrome versions (size, slant, borders, new tab button size and colors).

It is:

The borders are too harsh, like they are drawn with a pencil. And the slant is not really correct.

Chrome 65:

Also, there is a bottom border.

Chrome 69 (bigger height and no borders):

The "x" circle should be red instead of grey. And the new tab button should become lighter, definitely not black like this:

@oleedd The thorium-legacy version has this patch, mainly because I saw no reason to remove it, when I merged Supermium patches into mine.

Might add it in future versions, I think it looks nice too.

I actually need legacy because I use Windows 7. I didn't know that there are 2 repositories when opened.
Can you add the original tabs from v65 and v69/70 copying the original Chromium code? I would prefer v65, but v69 is nice and worth adding too. They look quite different if to open two browsers and compare. The screenshots don't represent this difference well.
New Chrome tabs were disliked by people mostly because of its big size. These Supermuim tabs were an attempt to make the big tabs trapezoidal.

@oleedd try using Compact UI flag with this (on Supermium ofc). It looks way better.
chrome://flags/#compact-ui

I know about it. It looks even worse to me. Too small, unnatural height, it looks wrong to me.
