Use old Chromiun 2008 icon to differentiate from standard present chromiun icon #771

been a user of thorium for 3 months, very solid browser, i have a small suggestion i don't know if you agreed but it would be cool if thorium uses the old 2008 chromium icon to differentiate it from stock chromium builds

fork thorium and change the logo to that

@FriskTheFallenHuman Sorry, but I actually dislike skeomorphic icons. Plus I don't wanna change the icon this late in its lifecycle (Thorium's been around for 3 years), due to potential confusion, etc.

However, as far as skeomorphic icons go, the old Chromium one is pretty great.

If you so desire though, you can change the icon that is displayed on Windows or Linux.
If you want help with that I can guide, and would be willing to make a version of this logo with the black inner ring. This way it satisfies your desire while keeping the source code unchanged.
