The GPG plugin somehow corrupts special characters

Sending a signed plain text email with the following text:

å ä ö ü !

turns it into:

=C3=A5 =C3=A4 =C3=B6 =C3=BC =21=C2=A0

Actually, it seems even common characters like ! ? and line breaks get corrupted.

this is quoted-printable and depends on how message is constructed.

I tried Mail.app and GPGTools and that worked, so it is definitely something with Airmail/the plugin.

I guess the plugin has trouble with plain text
can you try with html one?
