Essentially, in
pennylane<0.33.0, theDefaultQubitclass has anoperationsandobservablesset of class attributes that need to be provided as shown here. This behavior was modified inpennylane==0.33.0as shown here.I have updated the
QEDeviceclass in Covalent accordingly and modified the version of pennylane to bepennylane>=0.33.0instead ofpennylane>=0.31.1,<0.33.0.
