I was looking for alternative torrent apps which support Qt4 (since Transmission dropped it long back) to use on older macOS. Fixing VLC for those is a task in itself (I have kinda fixed the build, but there is an endianness problem in X11 backend which results in weird colors, and other backends do not work at all), and I think it is not essential anyway to be able to watch movies while downloading. Will the app still work without depending on VLC?
