I was using mymcplusplus to create memory cards and import saves from other PS2 memcards. When mymcplusplus CREATES a .MC2 memory card it creates a file that is too big for the MemCardPro2 to recognize.

"mymcplusplus -i MemcardTest.mc2 format" creates a file that is 8,448KB (the same size as a .ps2 file)

When i try to use the .mc2 files created by mymcplusplus the MemcardPro2 says the file size is too big (.mc2 files sizes are supposed to be 8,192KB)

Exact Error on Memcard Pro 2 OLED is "Invalid Size This VMC size is not supported"

thank you for any help!

I dont knot if this is helpfuly but, when i open up a 8,448KB sized .mc2 card in the mymcplusplus GUI and import a .psu save and then do a "Save As" to a .mc2 file, it will trim down the file size to the appropriate 8,192KB size. BUT when i do an command line "mymcplusplus -i MemcardTest.mc2 import BASCUS-97328GAMEDATA.psu" it will import the game save into the .mc2 file with out appropriately resizing the file
