I had an issue where the re-runs of the Faze vs Navi Streams on ESL have been a pain and extremely problematic on my end.
While the initial start of the stream is fine, depending on a few factors it starts getting extremely choppy to an extent where it none stop buffers every few seconds and truly gets annoying at times.
The behavior can be stopped by simply disabling the extension, this doesn't affect any Live Streams or Vods from my experience but ever since I've watched that vod, I've came back and opened the stream to see the same behavior over and over so I decided to report it.
So when does this get triggered for most of the time?
It happens mostly when they have their Commercial Break logo and the second that starts, it stops playing properly and gets choppy until it plays a few seconds then buffers for the rest of the time.
I thought it was normal behavior but honestly after some time and seeing that it happened on no other stream and everything worked perfectly I decided to open this ticket.
For me this is easy repeatable by watching a bit of the ESL Re-Runs
I'm using the latest built of Chrome on Windows 11 but also tested Chrome OS and had the same behavior, this only happens for the re-runs on ESL on my end and nothing else. Although a tiny issue as not many people go on Twitch to watch a re-run but since it is happening wanted to report it as it might be harder to fix later on with time. Thank you for your time
As for some additional info, I'm using Windows 11 currently with the latest updates. latest version of Chrome and I've tested with both the Extra extension and Extra Beta, I also run Adguard itself alongside it as it's only natural. I've also ran the latest Chrome OS Flex stable build and had the same exact issue.

The stream is a re-run of an old Live stream, so not exactly a VOD or a Stream I guess. It happens when their Commercial break hits or when Twitch wants to introduce an ad. I watched the stream itself when it was live and everything was perfect, I've used other Extensions some that lower the resolution and display that there is an ad playing and proxies etc and they also work fine.
My observations are that, either on the Commercial break (the screen that ESL shows on their commercial breaks) or when Twitch tried to play an ad themselves the said buffering affect starts. I can confirm this as when I disable the extension I have an ad play on refresh. These are my personal observations though so
